Well, I never thought I'd see this coming. Me, making a blog. I suppose it'll give me something relatively constructive to do rather than playing Tetris.
So, here I am, on the eve of my birthday and on the birth day of this blog*.
I'm actually fizzing, I think, whilst I sit here typing away due to the amount of caffeine coursing through me. Ok, so I pulled an all-nighter, but for good cause; I absolutely have to get this model for uni finished today, otherwise I'm in the shithouse, so to speak.
I'm quite excited about tomorrow, I think. Although the prospect of being officially a year older is kind of scary. I'm itching to open this silly card that I've got off Kirsty's mum, but I've been told I'm not allowed.
I think I'll go on to just lay out the basics of what's happened so far in the past week, otherwise I'll no doubt forget to do so later on.
Right, erm...I think I'll have to start from thursday since it's the only one I can clearly remember at the minute ¬_¬
This was the Marilyn Manson gig at G-MEX, now called Manchester Central just to be confusing, and was absolutely amazing! I could have done without the smokering people and the people throwing whatever it was in those paper cup jobbies...wooo dizzyness...but it was still great.
The support band was trrible with extremely bad lighting that seemed to hurt only my eyes. So along with the rubbish music, there were the lights, so I had to keep my eyes shut - these put together gave me only one option that my body quite happily launched itself at - sleep. Standing up it the middle of the crowd watching a terrible Norwegian band, I lapsed into sleep. ^_^
Go me.
Friday morning and Kirsty went home - i.e. University home - and I went back to my room to have a nap. I had two strange dreams in that half an hour nap; one in which my phone turned into a jelly-like substance and then into a resealable bag kind of affair, the other where a random and unknown Chinese girl turned up in my room and woke me up and said hi - this was very baffling because when I actually properly woke up I assumed she was still there and then got confused when she wasn't :S
Went into town with Vicki and Eleanor - to Aflecks and then the food court for din-dins where KFC was had - damn nice new burger :D
I then got the X46 to real home to have my driving test. As many of you know, this never happened as I somehow managed to slip over on the little lane up to my house and hurt my lower back, thus Tony told me that it was probably best that I didn't drive and should contact the DSA and tell them what had happened. I did so and they said to go to the doctors - I eventually ended up at the walk-in centre in Rochdale - and make sure that everything was ok and then send them a letter to tell them that I really was hurt and then they would reschedule my test for me. Which I thought was very kind.
Friday night I worked - whatever possessed me I don't know - and did so again on Saturday. Came home and started on this blasted model.
On Sunday I persuaded Vicki to come with into town and I spent a tidy amount on black mounting board to make the model all nice a sexy - which it now does - and bought me my canned sleep.
And, well, that's it. The last four days wrapped up in a large nutshell.
I'll try to be consistent with other posts. Don't know how posting over Christmas will be though.
Bye for now.
Milord
