Long time no see...

Once again my title works a couple of ways; first and probably the most obvious, is that I haven't written an entry for many long days even though I've been meaning to do for the past week. Second is that it's the Winter Solstice - which I thought deserved a mention.

So, that's basically it. Argh, there's so much to write about.

Hmm...just checked and the last post I did was about my birthday :s - done last Wednesday. So let's begin.

Well, on Friday I worked and I worked Saturday - as usual. Then...Kirsty stopped over and on Sunday I packed my things and came home. Oh yeah, on Saturday night we went to see the Golden Compass, which to be brutally honest sucked severely - they missed out what would be the last 20 minutes and even though it's quite amusing to begin with, the fact that Ian McKellen is the voice of Iorek Byrnison i.e. the polar bear does not suit a big fierce white bear.
And on Sunday - I believe - my parents took me down to Snow and Rock for me to choose some pretty fabby climbing gear. I even got 10% off ^_^

I can't believe I can't remember the past 4 days. Right, let's just skip Monday, something probably happened but obviously not worth remembering. So, Tuesday, I went into school after being surprised by Kirsty turning up at my house, got my art work - this being the main reason I went in - then met Rachel - being the secondary reason for going in - then saw other such people that still sadly reside in the Suxth Form* and the teachers too. Mr Archer was very pleased with his dry-stone wall.
Then Kirsty, Rachel and Jonooo came over as a whim - Mr Jonooo staying for tea. (And Kirsty obv.) Oh, and she stayed over.

Wednesday, oh yeah, I went into Manchester to pick up uni work - even though I believe that some of it is still there. Oh well, I'll get it another day - and then gotted the bus home. In th'evening fambly watched Die Hard 1, awesome.

Speech Night happened on Thursday. I continue to say that it was a load of do-ins except for the sole good reason that I got to see people again - especially Mr Ben. They had mince pies and other cakey things afterwards which was a plus point.

And now tonight is Friday. This doesn't mean that only this evening is Friday, but this evening does mean the JOON gig! Hurrah!
For a definition of deadication, I nearly got fired whilst trying to get tonight off work. So be nice to me please.

And that, once again, is a whole week wrapped up in a nutshell.

Bye for now - again.

Still Alive

My birthday went really quite successfully. No-one died certainly.

It was good to see some of my people again - especially Chris who I now see once every blue moon. The chinese was good as usual, with everyone eating all they could eat. Although saying that me and Simon, and probably the other boys could have carried on - my excuse being that I was going to a club and food and clubs do not go together well.

So I forked out £93.50 to pay by card - everyone else gave me £75, so it's fair.

Chris & Mr Becky and Eleanor & Tom left us outside Satan's because it wasn't worth them coming in for only an hour tops seeing as they had to get back to Bolton.

Bit miffed with the guys at Satan's as they didn't play any of our selected music :( except Prodigy simply because I badgered them to play some - so I had a nice little dirty rave ^_^

Hmm...that was, Tuesday...Wednesday then. Went to...climbing. Took Kirsty there. She was adamant that she couldn't do it and was like, "argh! I can't do it" but then at the end of the day when sensible people are tired and hungry, she had loved it so much that she wanted to back up!

So much for persuasion!

Then...erm...oh yeah, we had food then Kirsty went home. I came back a did work whilst having on Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace. Then even later on I had Monty Python and the Holy Grail on. It's lovely :D

I attempted to do an all-nighter, because I needed to really. I say attempted because it failed miserably, just as I suspected it might, and I fell asleep at 06:00 and woke up at 12:00 ish, I had a presentation at 13:00. Bugger. Strange thing is I could have sworn I fell asleep in my chair; but I woke up in bed :S

The presentation went well though and my model is fucking awesome despite what my tutor said - basically just a few questioinable elements and fairly shoddy modelling. Rubbish. Still, I didn't fail :D

I'm not off into town shortly with Simon to get christmas things for all you lucky people :)

I'll try to do a shorter post next time but don't hold your breath.

Love, Milord.

Birth Day

Well, I never thought I'd see this coming. Me, making a blog. I suppose it'll give me something relatively constructive to do rather than playing Tetris.

So, here I am, on the eve of my birthday and on the birth day of this blog*.

I'm actually fizzing, I think, whilst I sit here typing away due to the amount of caffeine coursing through me. Ok, so I pulled an all-nighter, but for good cause; I absolutely have to get this model for uni finished today, otherwise I'm in the shithouse, so to speak.

I'm quite excited about tomorrow, I think. Although the prospect of being officially a year older is kind of scary. I'm itching to open this silly card that I've got off Kirsty's mum, but I've been told I'm not allowed.

I think I'll go on to just lay out the basics of what's happened so far in the past week, otherwise I'll no doubt forget to do so later on.

Right, erm...I think I'll have to start from thursday since it's the only one I can clearly remember at the minute ¬_¬
This was the Marilyn Manson gig at G-MEX, now called Manchester Central just to be confusing, and was absolutely amazing! I could have done without the smokering people and the people throwing whatever it was in those paper cup jobbies...wooo dizzyness...but it was still great.

The support band was trrible with extremely bad lighting that seemed to hurt only my eyes. So along with the rubbish music, there were the lights, so I had to keep my eyes shut - these put together gave me only one option that my body quite happily launched itself at - sleep. Standing up it the middle of the crowd watching a terrible Norwegian band, I lapsed into sleep. ^_^

Go me.

Friday morning and Kirsty went home - i.e. University home - and I went back to my room to have a nap. I had two strange dreams in that half an hour nap; one in which my phone turned into a jelly-like substance and then into a resealable bag kind of affair, the other where a random and unknown Chinese girl turned up in my room and woke me up and said hi - this was very baffling because when I actually properly woke up I assumed she was still there and then got confused when she wasn't :S

Went into town with Vicki and Eleanor - to Aflecks and then the food court for din-dins where KFC was had - damn nice new burger :D
I then got the X46 to real home to have my driving test. As many of you know, this never happened as I somehow managed to slip over on the little lane up to my house and hurt my lower back, thus Tony told me that it was probably best that I didn't drive and should contact the DSA and tell them what had happened. I did so and they said to go to the doctors - I eventually ended up at the walk-in centre in Rochdale - and make sure that everything was ok and then send them a letter to tell them that I really was hurt and then they would reschedule my test for me. Which I thought was very kind.

Friday night I worked - whatever possessed me I don't know - and did so again on Saturday. Came home and started on this blasted model.

On Sunday I persuaded Vicki to come with into town and I spent a tidy amount on black mounting board to make the model all nice a sexy - which it now does - and bought me my canned sleep.

And, well, that's it. The last four days wrapped up in a large nutshell.

I'll try to be consistent with other posts. Don't know how posting over Christmas will be though.

Bye for now.

Milord

* see what I did there? Aren't I clever ^_^
